I have been taking the tummy fiber everyday since Feb 7, 2011. I started very slowly. 1/4 teaspoon, 3 times a day for 10 days. I very slowly increased to 1 1/4 teaspoons, 2 times a day. I seemed to do good when I took 1 teaspoon, 2 times a day. I can actually say I am going to the bathroom once a day. Great for IBS-C!! But, since I have increased to 1 1/4 teaspoon, 2 times a day I have been having some problems. Still going to bathroom, but if I do not keep some food in my stomach thought-out the day, I get very bad gas and stomach pain late in the afternoon.
Should I go back to one teaspoon, 2 times a day? Is that the max I can seem to tolerate? Any recommendations are truly appreciated! Thanks
