new symptom       03/01/11 04:12 PM Edit Reply Quote mommaflo Reged: 03/01/11 Posts: 2 Loc: nevada Hi, I have been on the "ibs diet" for over a year now. I've been having a new very painful symptom for the last 9 days, it feels like chest pain or pressure & happens after I eat (no there is no common link between the things I have eaten when it has happened) it last from 15-20mins sometimes with vomiting or diharrea but always with PAIN & nausea,went to urgent care (thats how bad the pain was) & doc said it was my upper intestines putting pressure on my diaphram? My gastro doc perscribed nitroglycerin (havent tried it yet). Has anyone else had this symptom & know what I can do 2 prevent it?? Untill then I think I'll stay away from food.
