Your aunt is right the fructose is found in fruit but high fructose corn syrup is not. It is man-made. Also, perhaps you aunt doesn't know it but too much fructose even from healthy fruit may make IBS symptoms much worse. Also, Minute Maid Fruit Punch contains high fructose corn syrup.
