I BEGGED my gastroenterologist to either give me a colonoscopy or a perminent shunt for a nutritional IV hookup. I spent an average of 4 hours almost every single day with uncontrollable D and horrific pain and cramping.

Read my journey below - while there is no cure for IBS - especially due to the fact that so many people find relief in different ways, there is hope to feeling better. Having had IBS since 1983 and taking every med, diet, supplement, etc. there was, I was ready to give up... so I do know where you are coming from.
