Hi there!

I lurked around these boards a while back, went gluten-free (which helped temporarily) and have now re-introduced gluten as my symptoms returned and dairy seems to be an offender. So, I figured it's time to give Heather's IBS diet a proper go (never did in the past, not sure why).

My symptoms are MAJOR bloating and constipation. I really think Heather's diet may work but patience is a problem. And I get REALLY anxious about my symptoms and tend to think they'll last forever if they don't get better immediately (ridiculous, I know). But the lack of instant results from any dietary method has meant that I rarely stick with any changes. Also, I love health foods and fear white products. I went vegan and high-raw for a while. High-raw was such a bad move. As was eating what ever I want over christmas without any limitations.

Anyway, I'm feeling excited about 2011 and am hoping that with Heather's help I can see positive changes in my IBS symptoms
