If yes, it is an announcement of a clinical trial of their strain of the probiotic yeast, Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. boulardii. It will be a couple of years before they have any results. There has been a few small clinical trials using this yeast. It is known to be effective for managing antibiotic-associated intestinal, traveler's diarrhea and IBD. There have been a couple of small IBS clinical trials with encouraging results.
