Re: tests for IBS       10/03/10 07:46 PM Edit Reply Quote seattleite Reged: 01/07/10 Posts: 67 Loc: Seattle did you ever get these done alisonmary? i just got my results back and the genova microbiology said i had no growth for lactobacillus species (one of the good bacterias), too low of bifidobacterium (good guy) and too much of psudomonas aerugiona bacteria (a bad guy). my ND is putting me on "HLC intensive probiotics" for 3 months and she said she could give me antibiotics for the bad guy but doesn't really like to or something. i guess theres natural herbs that could possibly treat it like oregano and some other ones ive never heard of. -------------------- IBS-D since 2008, female in her 20s Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
