oh...good to know...I was thinking rice was safe.

I haven't tried Benefiber as I thought this was a wheat product. I eat gluten free but their website says it is considered gluten free with less than 20 ppm of gluten. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm not celiac just basically eat gluten free for health reasons.

The only two SF supplements I've been able to tolerate are Benefiber and Fibercon. I take Fibercon with me in my purse and use Benefiber powder at home and the kind that comes in powder sticks in my drinks when I'm out. Benefiber is the only SF supplement I've been able to tolerate in pretty high daily doses (I try to get 25-30 g SF a day). You might give it a try...it's clear in water and doesn't have a taste. Make sure and get the unflavored "clear" kind that only has wheat dextrin as an ingredient, because the "sugar free" kind has an artificial sweetener. Good luck!
