Traveling to Italy

I had not been traveling much until I took a new job in May. I just returned from my second trip (to California - which is probably the longest I've been on a plane) and I'll be going to Italy next month. My first two trips were a success, mainly due to the fact that I had kitchenettes and didn't eat out, I think.

My next trip is going to be harder. I'm not sure if I'll be able to find the right foods and I can only pack so much food to take with me. And being in Italy, I'd REALLY like to eat out, but I can't eat anything tomatoe-based and pasta causes me to bloat. Does anyone have any suggestions, or did I just delete the majority of Italy's menu?

As far as eating out at home, Panera is the only place I've found that doesn't bother me in any way. I always get the turkey on sourdough. Thanks in advance.
