I've been diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia. How do I follow the IBS Diet now?

Basically refined carbs...white rice, white bread, white pasta, etc. are out cause they cause my blood sugar to spike and drop. I've tried to eat small meals six to eight times a day to balance it, but I just can't handle the refined carbs as much. What should I do? Am I destined to remain constipated? Thank you.
