My friend who suffers with IBS and many other GI issues tested positive for gluten allergies and since going gluten free, has pretty much been free of IBS. I never thought I was sensitive to wheat products and such but now am beginning to think there is something up. Previous foods that seemed safe for me, after eating now, are causing me to have gas, needing to go to the bathroom (not D but just need to go quite often) and that unsettled feeling. I enjoy so many foods with gluten and am quite thin and can't afford to lose weight. My friend lost quite a bit going on this diet. Just curious to how many are gluten intolerant besides IBS or are do they kind of go hand in hand sometimes. Thanks! Sandy IBS-D mostly but sometimes IBS-A
