One of the biggest symtoms of IBS I have is bloating and trapped gas and good old regular gas.
I've been told there are many products OTC we can take, but with so many out there, I wanted guidance from people who have similar symptoms as me on which to take.
Beano-Prevents gas for certain foods Gas-X and other gas relievers Digestive Enzymes
Which work for these symptoms and which do you recommend? As I said trapped gas and bloating along with regular gas are MAJOR problems. I was thinking of doing Beano...but that only helps for certain foods.
Thus, if any gas relievers (gas-x?) help for when I already have gas, let me know.
My GI doc said OTC enzymes are trial and error, but that one patient tried one digestive enzyme and was all but cured of his symptoms.
