My IBS Routine (for those who can handle dairy)

Based upon my old posts here at Heather's, I would say that I've come a long way. I created my own kind of "regimen" for whatever it's worth, and I thought I would share it with those of you who aren't lactose-intolerant. It's simple, but since I've been doing it, I have minimal-to-no left side discomfort, no insane amounts of gas, no constipation/diarrhea. For the past two months, I've been drinking one Dan Active in the morning before I have any food and one at night before I go to bed. I started drinking them with no intentions of clearing up any tummy issues. I heard they were good for immunity, so I gave it a go. I have to be honest--there must be something to it. Within two days, my stomach has been the most comfortable it's ever been for quite some time. Of course, I am making sure I stay away from too much soda, sweets, and fried foods (those just aren't good for you whether or not you have IBS). I also exercise every night for 20-30 minutes and drink mostly water. It's been such a "change of gut" for me that I had to share. I hope this works for other people, too. I seriously cannot believe how good my stomach feels...and I haven't had to take any psyllium fiber or anything of that sort.
