you probably need some fat. Soluble Fiber - what you're eating now - has to be your base but you need Insoluble Fiber, also. The lack of Insoluble Fiber is why you've swung to C.

You can't really learn Heather's EFI Diet just from reading the Boards; you need to read the rest of the website too. Here's a sticky post that has links that will walk you through what you need to know: web page

You should pay particular attention to what Heather says here about how to break the cycle of attacks: eat nothing but Soluble Fiber (which is what you're doing except for the chicken) for just a few days , then begin adding in Insoluble Fiber. She has suggestions on how to do that adding in slowly and carefully. That's what you need to start doing.

The feeling of incomplete evacuation - still having to go even after going - is common in IBS sufferers. For me it resolved as my tummy stabilized and using a Soluble Fiber Supplement really helped.
