Yes. There are various side effect body symptoms like back pain, sweats and chills and utter exhaustion. I'm sure there is a medical reason. Try a heating pad!

If I get bad D I sometimes get quite exhausted for like 24 hours. I got it on a hiking trip once at a greasy Asian restaurant in Banff and had to hike up Lake Louise trail the next morning. I definitely struggled with that and I had done it before just fine!
