However Imodium hasn't been proven as a safe drug during pregnancy so you may have to stop taking this during pregnancy. You can still take a fibre supplement and use Kaopectate. Usually the standard is to try for a year before seeking medical help. If you really want to find out what the issue is I would urge you to see a doctor or even the practice nurse.
