Question About Meltonin and ZMA For IBS       02/24/10 08:52 AM Edit Reply Quote Naturapanic Reged: 02/16/06 Posts: 856 My doctor (psy) has recommended I take 9 MG (3 pills) of Melotonin at night to help with sleep. I have to be on medicine, and it is believed some of them are disrupting sleep. Problem is when I try melotonin, it seems to back me up. Somebody also recommended to me, since I weight train, I take ZMA which is supposed to be great for sleep. I wanted to know if any could tell me: 1) Is it possible that Melotonin can be problematic for IBS-C and bloating? -Does brand/make matter? 2) What about ZMA? How good is ZMA for sleep, how effective is it relative to Melotonin? -What about side effects, specific to C, is it more or less problematic? -Again, does brand matter? 3) Which do you recommend I try?
