This is an email from Him to me about it. Dr Drossman "These are reasonable comments, however the study was not a clinical trial, nor is it meant to be a recommendation as much as to understand whether CHO restriction might have clinical benefits in IBS. To uncerstand the role of CHO, fructans, serotonin, etc. requires a larger, methodologically different and more complex study, rather than a case series of a few patients;.
