No Julie, not as strong as you think, and I bet you are stronger than you think. Winter is a tough time for those with rosacea. In the extreme cold and wind, I cover my face with a scarf and limit my time in the cold.
Yeah, simple has worked best for me. But, as with anything, everyone finds their own way. Most people think I have a pretty complexion, but I know I do not. When it flares, it hurts and is really red. But, at other times, it is just a light pink. I am more harsh on myself than others are on me.
Certain foods will affect your face, for sure. Once you find out which ones, you can avoid them, like you say, the figs.
