IBS-C takes a long time to stabilize with. I spent a good year on it. And I felt worse before I felt better. It's a rollercoaster, but well worth the effort in the end.

Natural Calm is fantastic for C. It's non-addicting and contains no stimulants, so it's easier on your body than Milk of Magnesia and you can use it daily. You can buy it at Whole Foods or order it online. There's tons of posts on here about it, so do a search.

As for your fruits and veggies: cook, puree, blend, all of the above! I ate a lot of blended soups and fruit smoothies early on. It's the easiest and safest way to get those foods, which we C'ers need a lot of.

Have you tried hypnosis? I did it 2 or 3 times and saw vast improvements each time.

Good luck!
