I take Lipitor to lower my cholesterol and I do not have any problems with it. I am a small person, not overweight, I eat healthy, exercise and because of family history I have high cholosterol. My father had triple bipass surgery in his 50's. I do not take this mediction to make my doctor happy. I take it to avoid possible heart problems in the future.

My IBS has been stable for several years now. I follow Heathers diet and take acadia. These changes made a world of difference in my life.

We are all different and what worked or didn't work for you may work or not work for someone else. There are many people here that do not jump into taking medication lightly but in some cases it is something that unavoidable and needed to be healthly.
