So today I went to see my OB/GYN and told her about what has happened to me over the last year...IBS,anxiety, acid reflux. I told her I was taking Buspar/Buspirone and I was taking 1/2-1 1/2 pills per day. She said my dosage was all wrong that I was supposed to be getting at least 30 mg per day and up to 60mg.I was only getting 10-15 mg per day of the Buspar. She also thought that maybe Lexapro might be a better choice. She consulted another doctor and he agreed. She also said her husband had begun taking Lexapro because of anxiety attacks. She wanted me to stop the Buspar (since the dosage was so low) and begin the Lexapro. Anyone take either of these and what did you think?
