I can't possibly think that there may NOT someday be a cure or that there isn't such a thing as a miracle for some people with IBS. After all, don't we hear all the time about people with terminal cancer and all of a sudden it's gone and the medical profession can't explain it?
"Can't" has never been, nor will ever be in my vocabulary. Everything is possible. If I didn't believe that I may be lucky enough to someday see a cure for IBS I might as well lay down and die and let it get the best of me wallowing in my own self pity.
I do believe in a phrase I heard long ago. It said, "Within every setback there is a blessing if you just look for it". If we truely look for it I'm sure we can, each and every one of us, find that individual blessing.
I know this is all pretty hard to swallow when we are having an attack that feels like it is killing us, or we just wish it would.
But what is life without vision, without future, without HOPE?
