I hope people will voice their frustrations to their doctors and show them the research that has been done so that perhaps doctors will look into learning a little bit more about IBS instead of just dismissing it. It may not be "life threatening" in the sense of mortality, but we all know that it has not only threatened our previous way of life but destroyed it.
