The case of the soft pretzels ( help needed )

Hi ya'll. Something really strange happens when I eat soft pretzels that are available here in the Philadelphia area. I wonder if the ingredients could be causing a reaction.

The ingredients state they use "dough conditioner" that has whey in it. But would that be cooked out? Other breads dont really cause me problems.

Usually what happens is at work we'll bring some in at the morning, if I eat more than one, by end of the workday I'm in the bathroom with an incident. This is really strange... help?
