Thanks everyone for your thoughts.

Not eating carbs will be very difficult for me since I am a vegetarian. However, I have been sick for so long that I am willing to do (as Heather posted-thanks Sly for the suggestion) whatever I need to do to get better for myself. We are all different. I will not eat animals but I am open to trying new things.

My IBS didn't pop up one day last year, it's been a part of me for since I was 13 and I am now 39. Trust me, I just need to keep trying and the carbs thing seems to be the last thing left that I have not eliminated. Even if I can get 50% better and not feel panic and dread everyday, I will be happy.
