Yes - that is what they say on the web site too. The Bifidobacterium genus contains many different species. The specific species that was clinically tested was lactis. Align contains a different species - Bifidobacterium infantis - which has different probiotic effects for IBS than B. lactis does. It is very important to stick with the specific probiotic species that has been clinically tested.
