I had one and it was quite frustrating such that even passing gas would cause soiling and leakage. So it is better to remove that. If you know the reason why it was caused, you will not get it again. In my case it was a heat boil in anus for which I did not take anti-biotics. About your other complaints all I can say is eat more fruits & veggies and have plenty of fluids. The surgery as such is not painful since they give a spinal GA. After the op sitz bath has to be carried out for some time. Be confident and everything will be OK.
