Dr. Whorwell's group seems to think it good for IBS based on the clinical trials research they have done. I don't know if they generally recommend 3 servings per day but I think they did for Julie. I have not tried it myself but I am going to get some next time I go shopping. Natural or plain Activia is not hard to find here. Perhaps you will have to look around for it.
