I dont know if this is IBS related but maybe someone can help.

Two yrs ago or so, I began doing daily exercising (stationary bike). I started out at 10 mins a day and now do between 60 mins and 90 mins a day, 5 days a week. And on weekends I do strength training a bit (weights.) I got into this as a way to relieve boredom, depression, a way to remember my late father (he died 3 yrs ago and worked out on an exercise bike daily...it reminds me of him)...and as an adjunct for my bellydance class. It turned into a hobby all its own and for a long time made me feel really great!

But lately I have been feeliong very tired and fatigued, even first thing in the morning. My husband thinks I have developed low blood sugar from exercising too much and not replacing that expended energy with enough food. I dont eat much anymore, I admit...exercising seems to have decreased my appetite. And I find too much carbs (potatoes, pasta, bread, rice) makes me feel bloated, which I learned could be due to my IBS. Yet you need to eat a lot of carbs if you exercise a lot!

I dont know what to do...I feel as fatigued as I would if I were a weight loss dieter (women who have dieted to lose weight have told me it really saps their strength)...although I have never dieted to lose weight, I think I now know how they feel!

Any advice?
