Many bowel movements a day irrespective of consistency is usually called pseudodiarrhea or hyperdefecation, not constipation. Pseudodiarrhea is often associated with increased frequency of small, solid stool, rectal urgency and accompanies IBS. It would be wise to talk to your doctor to figure out if you are IBS-D or IBS-C.
