Re: REALLY Worried about this..       02/24/09 12:00 AM Edit Reply Quote lynno Reged: 02/08/09 Posts: 2 I know how you feel,I have found taking supplements of fish oil (omega 3,6 & 9) makes my colon slippery, if I'm really C I take 2 pills 2 to 3 X a day and stay on this till I have a smooth BM. Get the burpless ones, (from a good health food store) I also take 2 to 4 Twin Lab Magnesium Caps 400mg at bedtime to help have a BM the following morning. Since every IBS patients are different try smaller amounts of the mag caps first, for several days to see which works best for you. Good luck, and try talking to your Mom when your symptom free and explain how painful this is. Or better yet sit her down in front of this web page so she can read how difficult IBS can be for us.
