Constant Stomach Pain       02/11/09 05:32 PM Edit Reply Quote ctmom Reged: 02/11/09 Posts: 1 Hi. I am new to the site. I haven't been officially diagnosed with anything yet but have seen my Gastro and have an endoscopy and colonoscopy scheduled for early March. I started with severe burning right under my breastbone. I have been on prilosec for a few months now. That has decreased but I now have constant stomach pains - what I would call spasming. Is this a 'sign' of IBS? Anyone else ever had something similar for over a month? I do have irregular bowels - not constipation though - and gas. I also have trouble sleeping at night b/c I am usually a stomach sleeper and it is painful to lay on my stomach. Even to fold my arms and rest them on my stomach while I watch tv is uncomfortable. Is this 'normal'??? I have self-diagnosed myself with many things - which isn't healthy to do - so I am trying to change my diet to see if I can help alleviate some discomfort before my tests.
