Hi, Sharshar, thanks for asking, I was going to comment anyway.
I suspected Magnesium deficiency because of my severe hormonal problems (cramping of both uterus and colon throughout second half of cycle) but never got it checked (didn't know they could). I am taking a very good vitamin supplement now but it only covers 15% of RDI for Magnesium (45mg) and Calcium (120mg). So I tried upping the amount of Magnesium and Calcium in the same ratio but covering 45% - but within two days I noticed much looser/faster bms and quit! Incidently, I'm much much better now in terms of IBS and hormone problems since I started taking Phyto-estrogens (soy isoflavones) 5 weeks ago!
