Ask how long they think it will take for the diet and meds to start working and when you will start feeling better. It may be easier to follow the diet if you know how long it may take to start working. Make a list of questions or concerns you have so that you don't forget what you want to ask. Try very hard to stick to the diet your doctor wants you to follow. While you are trying to get stable you should not eat foods that you know will make you feel sick.
