I do really well with lentils but struggle a bit with beans. My husband has been complaining of gassiness as well. I keep saying I'm going to buy Beano for us to take beforehand, but I keep forgetting. We really like our beans, though, and it hasn't been bad enough to keep us away!

The problem in my house is that DH gets gassy and he farts. I get gassy and it gets trapped and won't come out and gives me a belly ache!

Do you use dried beans or canned? I use canned, really well rinsed. Lentils I obviously use dried - I've never seen canned lentils!
