Do you sub a lot of beans/lentils? and how do you handle them? I had lentil soup (blended) on Sunday with mushrooms and naan bread and got bad D afterward. I usually don't have a problem with IF and I thought it might have been too fatty, but DH was super gassy from it and it made me think it was the lentils themselves.
Last week I made taco salad with smashed black beans and had a side of rice. I used to be fine with it but I didn't feel super and didn't eat the leftovers this time. I am doing wonderfully with tofu but not so great with beans etc.

IBS-A for 20 years with terrible bloating and gas. On the diet since April 2004. Remember this from Heather's information pages:
"You absolutely must eat insoluble fiber foods, and as much as safely possible, but within the IBS dietary guidelines. Treat insoluble fiber foods with suitable caution, and you'll be able to enjoy a wide variety of them, in very healthy quantities, without problem." Please eat IF foods!
