Hi. I haven't been on this site for a few years. Thank G-d I was doing so well that I was able to go out and get a full time job and so I've been very busy. But I'm back.

I got over confident and went a bit nuts on our last vacation. Between the Holiday parties and the resturaunts and the eating on the go I got SO stopped up I think I can feel it in my rib cage. So here I am, munching my ADB and turning back to the site for advice an comfort ... the prodigal daughter but with the need for more advice than last time because I think that my 9 year old daughter also has IBS. Her gastro took an abdominal exray this morning and she is SO FULL he's going for drastic measures to empty her out before she gets an impaction. He wants her to take 2 double doses of Mirilax tonight and a square of exlax before bed. Then 4 double doses tommorow and then after that 2 normal doses a day till she's empty and then a dose a day for the next month until he sees her again. Then he wants to talk about putting her on Heather's diet. It's going to be a LONG WEEKEND!

Has anyone here ever taken Mirilax? I was wondering if I should try some.
