Thanks Sue,

Someone who can relate. This is what I don't get. All my life I have been brainwashed by the so-called "experts", to eat more IF, to help relieve the C. Increase my intake of beans, leafy greens, nuts, seeds, legumes, fruits, bran and veggies. Being a vegan, I love that idea. So, I do that and have some success, some of the time. Then I come to these boards and everyone says "no" to IF, stick with SF. So, I go that route and then I get so C, more so than I have ever been. Then I come back to the boards to discuss the extreme C, and I am told to increase the IF again, so then I wonder, that is what the "experts" were saying from the beginning. So, there is where my confusion lies. Most GI docs, even to this day, will tell you to eat more fiber. They just don't tell you what kind, but you know most of them mean IF. So, darn, I get confused. I think I am going to block them all out, and just experiment on my own body. I know for a fact that I can eat bran and be OK, so how does that happen? Only, experiencing occasional D, just recently, that just complicates things even more. Jeez, I wish I could figure it out.

But thanks for the input and understanding.

Lynn
