My doc didn't tell me what kind of ulcer I have! (Read re: ANSWERS!) He DId tell me to stay away from fruits and veggies! I'm not sure what to do........
He wants me to eat bread and oats, etc...not whole grain...and to stay FAR AWAY from fruits and veggies! That's what he told me to do! The BRAT diet. (Bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast). I complained that I have a yeast infection that just won't quit (had it for 2 months now!) and I don't want any sugar or yeast in my bod. He was like "too bad! This is what you gotta eat..." (He wasn't so mean about it...just quite unsympathetic).
I would be thrilled if I could eat my pureed fruits and veggies again...and my veggie juices....and especially cabbage juice! LOL (Spinach juice is my fav though!) LOL
I decided not to take the emds the doc gave me...I'm doing aloe vera juice instead. I'm still trying to avoid yeast and sugar....I've been eating rice with Tamari sauce, potatoes, gluten free cookies, and yeast-gluten-sugar free bread! (It's not so tasty...but it should help keep my tummy and yeast infection at bay!)
Am I crazy for not taking the AcipHex he prescribed?
