I was stressed that I'd be losing my job (because of the amount of time I took off). I REALLY don't know what set me off last night as I was driving to the job. (I don't think it was anxiety about work). Oddly enough, I brought up the idea of wearing Depends to my GI doctor two months ago. He very quickly, and emphatically replied, "NO!". I asked him why and he explained that wearing them would have a bad psychological effect on me. I thought about his response and I eventually agreed with it. Now, I'm not sure he is right. When I get diarrhea, it usually lasts for a few hours and if I don't eat anything afterwards I'm OK. The "anticipation" (or more precisely, the anxiety) of it happening is worse than the actual attack. Your reasoning (about wearing Depends) is sound...
