Does it matter what kind of magnesium supplement we use to help with C? In the US I used to buy Mg where the ingredient was magnesium oxide. Now I checked the content of the pills I got here and it says, "magnesium lactii". Is this still going to be as effective? I tried taking it, but nothing happened (but, that doesn't mean anything, my "old" mg didn't always work, either). I don't wanna be stuffing myself with some ineffective magnesium .
