I called the hotline listed on the VSL website and they emailed me a letter template and a list of questions for my insurance provider. After speaking to my insurance company they told me that I would not be able to get reimbursed for the original prescription that I paid for out of pocket because I didn't get prior authorization. They also said they rarely see anything approved for special coverage but that if I wanted to try to get "prior authorization" for a refill I could try that and that my doctor needs to call them directly. If the request is denied there is an appeal process as well. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
