Heather -- question about acacia       12/27/03 03:19 PM Edit Reply Quote barb n Reged: 10/14/03 Posts: 65 Heather -- we are going to give our daughter a stool test this week. It says that you should not be taking any digestive enzymes while taking the stool samples. She is not taking any -- I just was wondering if the acacia fiber would be considered a digestive enzyme in any way since it is a "prebiotic". I'm not too clear on these things, I don't think it would be the same thing -- but i thought I better make sure. The test is from the Great Smoky Labs (they have a website). We have an acupuncturist friend -- she and the doctor she works with use this test alot (called CP x 3) to test for good and bad things going on in the gut -- to get a picture of it (in case anyone is interested).
