When I make it at home I make sure to use the "just cranberry juice" kind. But so far as long as I've eaten something soluble and substantial- if I am at a wedding or something I can usually do there vodka and cranberry juice too. I've tried other mixed drinks and gotten very sick from them. I've noticed that if I have one drink of say a "sex on the beach" I am ok, but if I have two- I feel like I am drunk, sick and hungover all at the same time. I've notcied that I can tolerate Mikes Hard Cranberry pretty well even though it is carbonated. Hey I'm 26 years old and the idea of never ever having a drink for the rest of my life, was pretty sad to me! Therefore I just did some trial and error and discovered vodka and cranberry to be the safest. Theres a really good organic vodka brand called "Rain".
