Hey hey! Just letting everyone know I tried probiotics and it's awesome!I've had IBS-D with occasional random nausea, gas and constipation for a few years now. It was brought on originally by stress. I quit my job 7 mo. ago and was focusing on school for a while and was mooching off my husband for that time. Everything got a whole lot better for that time. I still had D problems, but much less often. My diet was much less modified as well. Anyways, about 3 weeks ago I started school again, + a new job. Everything in my digestive tract went crazy and I thought I was doomed to start all over again. I remembered I hadn't tried probiotics but was sceptical. I did some research online and found a few studies that said acidophilus pearls w/ active cultures had really good results and maintained most of their cultures. Whereas most brands out there say that they have billions or millions of microflora, but they don't later! Anyways, I've been taking one acidolphilus pearl every morning and it works great! I just have some minor gas in the mornings! Even with the new job and school I can go places and not have to bring any medications! (although I still do out of habit, just encase) I'm also drinking coffee and eating bad foods much more often! Hopefully everything continues like this, its only been two weeks. But I suggest giving it a try. I picked mine up on amazon. 90 pearls for $25. keep in mind, it worked for me but it might now work for you.
