Celiac disease after IBS?       09/30/08 11:05 AM Edit Reply Quote kashi Reged: 02/27/08 Posts: 5 Loc: Michigan Has anyone been diagnosed with IBS, and then later found out they had celiac disease? My body has been really out of whack lately, and I went and got blood taken for alot of tests- sugar levels, hormone levels, etc. But, I've also had celiac disease in the back on my mind. My symptoms do fit that, and I know my gastroenterologist who diagnosed the IBS did not test for it (he did do a colonoscopy though). The IBS diet has worked well for me with the exception of the last year. Just curious if this has happened to anyone else out there. Not sure if this is the right board to post it on! Sorry!
