why dont laxatives work for people w/ IBS -C?       09/06/08 10:56 AM Edit Reply Quote jason61 Reged: 04/12/07 Posts: 190 i find that everything that would help a normal person go to the bathroom doesnt work for me...fiber, prune juice, laxatives....they dont work..why is this? my friend who has healthy digestion recently told me he had to take a laxative and wound up going 8 times in a 6 hr period...last time i took a laxative i just got bloated and went twice and that was it Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
