I have tried the Acacia and experienced more bloating. It may have cleared up eventually, I can't say, but I couldn't stand it!
I do take Fibercon at night - it is really the only thing, besides my probiotics, that I feel effectively help me have a bm. My nutritionist feels they are too "harsh," but Heather lists them as a SFS, and says they are safe to take long term. I'm visiting my primary doc in 2 weeks, I plan to ask her about this.
