Well my daughter has IBS-D and I have a form of IBD (Colitis) which technically is worse since its a disease but my daughter feels I am better off since I seem to be able to stabilze myself where she is constantly in the bathroom. I have recently found Heathers books and information and I am reading, reading, and reading. DONT GIVE UP. Its a constant battle but knowledge is POWER. When you are stable you feel pretty good. Plus you need people to support you thats a big help. I am a support person for my daughter but I am so glad I found this website since my husband doesn't seem to get it and when I want to talk I can tell he's bored to death or if I try to explain our daughers food issues 2 minutes later he will ask me something that I just explained to him. Sometimes I wish I had someone to lean on but I just keep moving on. HAVE FAITH AND READ ON HEATHER'S WEBSITE.
